Third file from the top of screenshot below...
The one beginning with CMU_7000C0A-NA11_10010.kwi
THIS is the one you check sum (if you want to) AND is the ONLY File you put on your USB Flash Drive to install as per .Pdf instructions.
IT CAN NOT have any other file extension, ONLY .kwi

NOT .Zip
NOT .kwi.zip
ONLY .kwi

Can anyone tell me what are the benefits by updating this software? I know with phones (IOS) there are usually benefits and features that the mfg gives you. What exactly is Mazda giving us for this update? And can we expect updates to include things like better software for the Autocruise as a part of a software update?

Thanks for the info. I ran checksum against the third, EXTRACTED .kwi file with successful results. The vehicle is inaccessible until the weekend, so I will retry with your additional admonishments implemented then.

I am fairly well versed in this type process - I've been a self-employed-medical office-all-facet I.T. consultant/technician for 30 years (was using DOS/Windows 3.1, usenet, .rar, checksum, etc. over ISDN in the early 90s : )

"In my since Windows 95, you only "check sum" the actual file you are using" / I did not assume that you were this well versed. But, given the level of detail in the initial post, I followed your instructions. However, I thought it possible that your omission of version 10006 was intentional (that 10010 did not apply to it,) so I simply asked for clarification...which you provided. "Assuming" typically isn't productive in the I.T. realm. Thanks!

If you ever need a better understanding of how HIPAA influences I.T., let me know!

All 3 of my extracted .kwi files checksum correctly (including the copy I used on the thumb drive)...I guess I wasn't holding my mouth right:p I will try again this weekend.

Again, thank you very much for the information and access to the updates!

10006 is very much outdated and I have supplied many NA CX-90 Owners who have installed from that version to 10010.
10008 was and is another outdated version.
10010 is the First Manual update released for ALL NA CX-90s.

"No update found" is usually either there is no later version as your car already has 10010 installed?, which it does not.

Or really the only other issues is the user (you) who has done the download and made errors.

Did you actually read all the information.
Did you Hash Value check sum your downloaded copy with the .exe supplied?, does it match the Hash String number in the .txt file also supplied then you know your downloaded file is NOT Corrupted during download process from server to your PC.

What PC did you use?.
Dont download direct to USB Flash Drive, download to PC Desktop first.

You know you ONLY copy/paste the 'CMU_7000C0A-NA11_10010.kwi' File over to your USB Flash Drive, as said in instructions, all the other info, like files and pics in download MUST NOT BE ON YOUR USB FLASH DRIVE when installing into car.

Is your flash drive freshly FAT32 re-formatted so there is NOTHING on the drive when you copy/paste the update .kwi file from PC to USB Flash Drive.

Dont use larger USB flash drive larger than 128GB.
I don’t even see a download available through Mazda.

with IOS (carplay) only Apple maps will show in the hud (along with native nav)...blame apple for that. with Android (AA) google maps and waze (as waze is owned by google) will show in the hud )along with native nav)
You don’t know what you are talking about… you are better off not responding rather than providing MIS information. Why don’t you “troll” somewhere else….

I have. I don’t want to get a file from someone. I want the car to function properly. The OTA should work. Another issue that needs to be addressed by Mazda. Also I’ve seen others giving away files and come to find out they had worms in the files that jacked up their car and stole data.
I can assure you these files are genuine Mazda, pretty sure the owners of this forum would not permit what you have said.
I am a Moderator for two of their other forums Mazda3Revolution and CX-3 and a member of 6 others (only Mazda).
OTA for Mazda at the moment is an abomination, the same in Europe, in fact Mazda has stopped it on same Gen CX-60.
Not sure if it is temporary or permanent.
Frankly IMO Mazda are being a bit too clever wanting to monitor all your cars data. I think in EU case the old 'privacy' concerns has obstructed them, plus eventually after free trial OTA is a paid subscription service.

How is it that you have these files but no one is able to get them unless through you?

If you have followed me in the past and actually read what I posted In THis Thread on page 1, I gave members two choices, either do it yourself or get your Mazda Dealer to do it, but you must complain to Dealer that HUD directions are not working correctly as Many Dealer at times dont act.
Or you MESSAGE me for the update file and Mazda instructions.
Live links are not distributed to public.

I have followed the thread however you’ve never mentioned how you were able to get this file to do the upgrade, yet no one else can get it. Unless through you. How did you get it?

Did you read first page, it lists the MAZDA Changelog of the fixes. LOOK for the Orange Heading under it it lists the two faults this 10010 update fixes.

Here you go...
NEW (Version 7000C0A-NA11_10010).

(Ver. 7000C0A-NA11_10010) fixes these software errors (bugs):
The active driving display may not show the navigation information when a navigation route has been set.
The center display may not show the distance to the next crossing or direction etc., when a navigation route has been set. They are to be shown in the upper left or right-side area of the center display.

(Ver. 7000C0A-NA11_10008) fixes these software errors (bugs):
An incorrect screen may be displayed when communication restriction mode is set while the Driver Personalization System is displaying the authentication result.
An incorrect screen may be displayed when connecting to Android Auto.

I am recent long term Mazda employee, I have long term Dealer contacts in US, UK, EU and AU. And a multiple Mazda Owner.
Would you like my weight.;)

Oh and you can get update via your Dealer.

You're right, we highly recommend that you get this update done at a real world official Mazda dealer instead.

I mean there could be malware on this file, and the last thing you need is for the Chinese government to monitor your driving habits.

Actually not what I was suggesting at all but yes I do recommend getting it done at a dealer.
