As I said prior any-one right now on 7000C0A-NA11_10018 is a relatively New CX-90 and this is a Production Line Installation.

Mazda Right Now has Not Released 10018 as an Update File...could be tomorrow, could be in 3 months, could be a later version like 10028...might be never.?

Look guys I am not explaining WHY I need a Picture of cars CMU Version or the FULL VIN Before I will issue any UPDATE FILES, there are a multitude of reasons.

I help other owners in 10 other Mazda Forums (which I am happy to do, it keeps my old mind alert) and I use the same policy.

THERE IS OVER 72 Different combinations of Mazda Firmware over the past 10 years, a Picture gets it 100% correct so what I issue next to you there is no guessing, Guessing when it is wrong only creates more work for me when YOU ARE WRONG and frustrates you also, (I get some great stories).

Why is it so difficult to read a thread and comply, why because you can't get what you want straight away as you are a New Member.?

There are many US Mazdas sold in Europe as used cars, many owners want to change to EU Firmware which you can NOT DO with any Gen 7 Mazda Connect.
There are unscrupulous people who want files to HACK them which you can't successfully do and this creates more problems with the cars Can BUS Communication and usually for me too at some point.

So if you can't confirm what Exact is in your car the way I prefer then sorry go to your Mazda Dealer and ask for a copy...you will get no options.

I want to comply with your instructions to the letter but the forum software will simply not allow me to attach an image in a private/direct message to you. The icon shown in your howto is just not there. I also provided you my image in the discussion thread, where for some reason I am allowed to attach an image. Can we have some flexibility here since the forum software won't let me attach an image as per the instructions? I was in IT as a network and systems administrator for over 25 years, so I'm not a newb with technology. I provided you a direct link to my image in post #326 above.
 
I am new to this forum and have been reading about the software update information. I have a Mazda CX-90 in need of a software update. I also have tried to attach a picture of the display showing the software version requested in order to determine the software version I need. However, I can't get the picture to load when I click on the Landscape Icon. Anyone have any suggestions on how to overcome this issue? I have disabled pop up blocker. When clicking on the landscape icon all I see is a http toolbox

I can not control what this system does and what it permits.
I happily volunteer over 11 Mazda Forums for this same Forum Company, some have no issue posting pics, others do...?
One would think the allowed user input parameters would be identical for each Forum Model, but they are not.

Sorry, but if you joined this Forum plz don't expect FULL ACCESS on the same day.
Most in IT should know there are qualification periods where one as a New Member introduces themselves first and then actually participates within same forum before asking for something in return.

I have found usually if you have.
1. Introduced yourself in New Member thread.
2. Participated in at least 3 Forum Threads here and post a Reply and or your Suggestion in each thread.
3. Wait After a 24hour period After Forum System Back-up* you should have close to Full Access.

* Forum Back-up time periods depends on your country time-zone... ;)

Oh yeah I must add, doing this update Manually yourself will not void or hurt your new car warranty at all, ask the many CX-60 owners in Europe which we have helped.

Mazda Dealers will never know as first they do not usually run updates on a whim and they do not record what Versions are updated to anyway, they simply do not have the time nor do they particularly care.
The Dealer update process and files are exactly the same as I issue you.

However, IF you want to get your Mazda Dealer to do this Firmware Update please get them to do so, BUT there is a BIG Proviso, YOU MUST, Repeat you must Complain of an issue to the Dealer that you are having one of the issues as stated above, like the Navigation Route on screen is not working.

IF you contact Mazda Dealer or go into Dealer and say you understand there is an update for cars Infotainment will you do it for me, then 9 times out of 10 they wont, you must have a Problem as Mazda Pays them under Warranty to tell them what they are being paid for, what is the causal issue or problem the Customer (you the owner) complained about.

Note: YOU CAN NOT INSTALL WRONG FIRMWARE IN ANY GEN 7 MAZDA CONNECT, PLUS YOU CAN NOT CHANGE THE COUNTRY FIRMWARE VERSIONS LIKE NA to EU or to 4A or Visa Versa.

Your Cars CMU WILL NEVER ACCEPT ANY INCOMPATIBLE FILES.

YOU ALSO CAN NOT INSTALL or CHANGE TO ANOTHER MODEL VERSION LIKE NA01 to NA06, or EU03 to EU07 or NA07 to EU07.

You can ONLY Update the Original Version that is currently installed from Mazda in your car now if, repeat if any Update is available like NA11-10008 Updated to NA11-10014.
