U-Haul knows hitches

please do not go to Uhaul. Their hitches are inferior to Curt. Also their wait times are longer based on personal experience.

I would pick a local dedicated hitch / rack shop over Uhaul any day.

Not promoting uhaul, no experience with their hitch installations. But I know for certain that Curt supplies most of the hitches that uhaul sells.

@ToneDeafMonk - I'm in Canada, and they had Uhaul install the hitch and wiring for me - which I think was mainly because no one in Mazda Canada knew how to. I had no issues with Uhaul, but I have yet to see the tow mode option. I have not plugged a trailer in through. Do you know if it shows up only once a trailer is plugged in?

They only gave me a four-prong plug, which I'm on the fence about
complaining about or not...

Oh my! The factory hitch on my preferred plus came with a 7 pin connector and I bought a 4 pin adapter. Plus, the writing harness goes all the way to the front of the CX-90. I doubt U haul bothered with any of that. Sorry. L

It's not so much the hitch as the wiring. I had the dealer install mine and that harness goes all the way to the front of the car AND the socket is 7-pin. I bought a 4-pin adapter for my utility trailer.

Correct for CX-90 - they do not hide the fact they sell Curt hitches at Uhaul.

For my 2012 Accord that was not the case and the install at Uhaul took the entire day… versus another hitch in a dedicated installed took 1.5 hours.
