I just received my wheels with tires mounted from PMC. The setup is 19x8 RWC MHK369 with Toyo Observe Gsi-6 in 265/55R19 with rubber valves. Total weight per corner is 72.6 lbs which is quite heavy as not only are the wheels about 9 pounds per corner heavier than the M016, the Toyo tires are very heavy at 39lbs per tires. I'm not sure what the stock 21inch wheels/tires weight but I'll guess around 65lbs. At least I'm confident that the wheel can withstand normal use.

Whoa! Looks like I’m not going to find any set of wheels under 1000 CAD. Will have to resort to getting winter tires fitted onto the same rims. Not ideal, but I reallly don’t wanna end up spending over 1600 just for the wheels.
It's tough on a budget, just looking at tirerack.com for the CX-90 (any trim level)
Firestone WinterForce 2 UV SUV Studdable Winter Snow tire
265/60-18 $172 each, 110S load rated, fits rims 7.5-9.5" wide, perfect for 8" wide rim
Studding $15 per tire optional

Sample wheel for package to match tire
Sport Terrain TK13 gloss black painted finish $186 each
18x8" et35, 25.75 lbs each

These are decent and will function for winter. An option.

Hi all. I just ordered mine with PMC here as well. According from PMC who has reached out to Fastwheel, the load rating on them is calculated differently which is still within tolerance rating, not concerned here. With 10% off total came at $2760. See list for products:
  • Fast Wheels - FC08 - Black - Gloss Black - 19" x 9", 38 Offset, 5x114.3 Bolt pattern), 72.6mm HUB - FC08A-1990-65BN+38C726 × 4
  • 72.6 mm - 67.1 mm Hub - Centric Rings × 1
  • Mr.Lugnut - Conical Seat Black Nut 14mm × 1.50 Closed-end - 7 spline - 35 mm Shank - 17mm, 19mm Hex × 20
  • Dialyn - Spline Drive Key 7-Spline Dual Hex 19mm & 21mm × 1

yes I did not install TPMS valve because PMC at the time weren't sure that they had a model that could work and honestly I don't really need and will live with the error message during the winter months. I did save about 400$ too by not having the TPMS.
The ones I received programmed and installed by PMC in the initial kit are $187+tx, after the usual 10% rebate. Decided to go with them as with this new car we are in the dark for details / impact of TPMS absence. In some cars, you can't defeat traction control if a TPMS error is active, and we all know trac has to be defeated in deep snow.

Hi, this is a great thread. Can you guys please post pics of how flush your wheels sit once mounted? I am trying to determine if a 38 offset looks much different from a 45 on different options. I am pleasantly surprised by how flush the factory 21s are on my Signature model, and would like to avoid a tucked looked through the winter months. Thanks.

The wheels I'm returning are pictured on my blue rig elsewhere in this thread. They have a 42 offset. A 38 will go further into the fender and you have to watch for that massive upper front arm when going with a smaller offset.

Hi, thanks for the response. Do you have a pic that shows the profile down the length of the car? That is what I am referring to. And, actually, a higher offset means the wheels sit more inboard, not as you described it.
.
Sorry for that - I just remembered that on my new '22 Crosstrek the replica wheels have a 10 mm offset difference (1st gen offset on a 2nd gen car) and they fit more "flush" than the stock wheels - and it looks very good!

No longitudinal pic, but with a 3 mm offset difference it won't show much!

Okay, thanks again. I will try to do some math when looking at the various 18" and 19" options, given that rim width will also affect how flush the wheels sit.
For instance, I saw in another thread that my stock wheels are 21 x 9.5 J ET45. Recalling from past purchases, if I go to an 8" wide rim, I'll need to go with a lower offset to make up for the 7.5mm loss in effective offset (15mm in total rim width difference). So it seems then that an ET38 wheel would keep the "flushness" the same if my winter rim is 8" wide.

Update:

I have changed my Rim selection to the following which meets the Mazda recommended load rating:

Braelin - BR08
Braelin - BR08 - Black - Matte Black - 19" x
8.5", 35 Offset, 5x114.3 (Bolt Pattern),
67.1mm HUB
SKU: BR08-1985-65FN+35C671

I don't want to compromise anything by saving $200 over the Fast Wheel FC08

PMC arranged everything! The initial kit is going back tomorrow at no cost to me and the new kit is RWC MHK336 in 19"x8" with Toyo Observe GSi-6 in 255/60R19. The RWC MHK369 is b/o. The Braelin BR08 is still in stock but a lot more expensive. Wheels are rated at 2,035 lbs, above Mazda's spec, and the tires are rated at 113, above the oem 109. This time we should be good!
