Sorry for the late reply, it feels like a different car now. Power gain is quite noticeable, at least on map 2(e30) map 1 is 91, I haven't ran it on map 1 yet

Did they say how the air/fuel ratios were? I'd probably be running Map1 most of the time, not sure I want to keep calculating ethanol mixes....we have 93 here, but that is with 10% ethanol....then we have E85...every time I top off the tank or fill it up it's kind of a guessing game with how many gallons are left etc....has an interesting dive in power between 4,000 and 4,900rpm, with a bump back up....wondering if that was timing being pulled or something.

The JB4 for the CX-90 is now on their web site.

What's the difference? Will they have a MAP for 93 Octane? Do you get free MAP updates? Does the Turbo-S have higher results than the plain turbo?

Device Connections:

JB4 Wireless Mobile Smart Phone Kit (Wireless Connection) < No firewall wire?

BMS Data Cable (Wired Connection) < does this need a wire through the firewall?

Unsure about a map for 93, as they are located in ca with me, where the highest I've seen out here is 91. Unsure on map updates as well. I would imagine as both motors are basically identical just map differences from factory, it wouldn't be too much different in terms of gains. I have the smart phone kit on mine, and it still has a wire through the fire wall as it plugs into the obd2 port.

Soarin_sideways, now you've been driving it a few more days....still feel the gain? Notice anything weird or "off" have you now tried the 91 map, assuming e85 is harder to get in your neck of the woods?

I just got mine today, plan on installing tomorrow!

You have ran map 1? Everything run smooth with it? I've put 1200 miles on map 2 and it's been smooth except for a hiccup cause by some bad e85
Yup, I had a full tank of 91, so I went with Map 1. It is pretty smooth, no noticeable hickups. I still have about half a tank, hoping to get through it in the next couple of days and fill her up properly with 93 and an additional 10% e85. (Our 93 already has 10% ethanol in it)

Happy Monday almost Halloween Kenneth. Did you have a chance to try the Map 2 yet? Just curious as I just got my shipment of VP octane booster and going to use it on the next fill up and try it. Thx!

I did, and have to say, thoroughly impressed, enough to go to two gas stations in order to get my 93 at one and e85 at another......I like it....I'll probably switch to map1 when I take road trips, as 93 or e85 are not available as much where I drive to monthly. I just wish there was a little more exhaust sound! My other car is an Audi s8, and when in sport mode, the exhaust valves open up and there is no denying there's a TT V8 involved.....
