Yes it’s a constant issue getting it to connect. I tried turning on and off my phone to work

 

I usually have to press the home button then select my iPhone in Communications to get it back.

 

I have to restart my iPhone and I am able to open Waze and use it again.

 

All of the above. One of the many electronic issues with this car.

 

Wireless is flakey enough that my wife just plugs it in and issues go away.

 

Apple iPhone 16 Max Pro running iOS 18 beta 4. Constantly rebooting CarPlay every 5 or so minutes. Major software incompatibility issues. It something in the new iOS release. Cx-70

 

I found that Waze gets knocked off the display and reverts to the Mazda map but the Waze turn by turn voice still comes through the speakers.
I press the Home button and reselect my iPhone, then the Waze map is back on the display.
