[Mazda Viking]

Hi all,

I’m André from Alberta, Canada. Up till now I’ve been looking at the Mazda CX-9. I was about to order one as well. But I saw the CX-90 unveiling just this week and it is awesome.

I currently own a Hyundai Santa Fe XL (the 7-seater) and soon it’ll be time to change it.

I’m very excited for what I saw of the CX-90 and the in-line 6 engine. I don’t think I’ll be getting the top-of-the-line CX-90, so I am very much looking forward to seeing the different trims, colours, options and prices. I maybe will get the base or mid-trim.

It will be interesting to know when the first CX-90 batches will be arriving in western Canada.

Can people start ordering them now or do we have to wait till a certain date? If we can order now, how does the ordering process work if we don’t know much about the trims and prices?

Hey André welcome to the forum! What year is your Santa Fe XL? What do you like about the CX-90 over the CX-9?

Orders haven't opened yet since Mazda hasn't released the pricing yet. But I imagine orders will open when the pricing is revealed.

Thanks! It’s a 2015 model.

I like the CX-90 more as it’s longer and wider. I love the design and the fact it has a moon-roof, not just that small sun roof.

I am in Winnipeg and the dealership here let me put money down on a CX-90 so I will be able to order first when the ordering goes live.

This is more what I would like in Dark blue or dark silver. Note the plastic lower finishes as well as the “smaller” and different rims. That must pertain to lower trim. But it does look more rugged.
