I was successful in getting Mazda to repurchase this vehicle. Spent over 100 days in the shop with multiple problems. Most of the blame is in the poor training and management of the dealership but fortunately Mazda corporate stepped in and owned the problems. This car has been a nightmare and diminished my faith in the brand. PHEV Preferred.
Lack of training by Mazda is partially to blame as well as arrogance of dealer. When looking back at all of the complaints and concerns, 100% of them became either a recall or a part replacement when the issue was pushed. Weather, driving style, " it's the normal characteristic of the car" all got debunked.
