How to tilt mirrors when parking?

We have the PHEV pp. Is there a more automatic way to tilt the mirror down to see the curb when (parallel) parking?

If seen that other Mazda models have that ability by pressing the left or right mirror selection and then moving shifter to R but I can't get to work on our CX-90.

Unfortunately that doesn’t appear to be a feature on your model
Shame but thank you for responding.

Yes, that sucks. Doesn’t make any sense. It’s a really nice feature to have. I guess if you have the 360 camera you can do it that way
Yeah but it's not the same. I don't feel as confident with the camera as with the 'real' view from the mirror. Oh well...

maybe try this?

Auto tilt-down outside mirror function for reversing (Some Models) The outside mirrors can be set to tilt downwards automatically when reversing the vehicle. When the vehicle is finished reversing, the outside mirrors return to their original angle.
  1. Press the select switch on the side of the door mirror to be tilted down. Turn on the indicator light of the select switch.
  2. Shift the selector lever to the R position. The outside mirror on the side where you pressed the select switch will tilt downward.
You gotta hand it to Mazda…on their premium models they leave out a useful feature that has been available on cars for the last 30 years.
Yeah their trim levels are crazy and it's disappointing that premium plus doesn't include everything on the S version.

I don't see on here the electric telescoping wheel and the driver profiles. They're not on my PHEV premium plus. Additionally, the mirror positions are not included in seat memory feature...

Mazda is not alone with questionable trim packaging decisions. I spent quite a while on Genesis GV-70 & Hyundai Palisade forums to see similar "US Marketing" choices in trims that differed in Canada & other country markets.

Yes, it seems the car manufacturers are really good at figuring out how NOT to give you exactly what you want, but really close to it. Then they’ll come out with additional “must-have” features in following years, and then they hope you’ll upgrade.
I miss the good ‘ol days when you could choose the exact options/accessories you wanted on a car, without all these stupid packages and trims.
