Interesting review. The Ford did not even make our list for two reasons - because it's a Ford and the styling and interior is just not good. Agree for moms that really don't care about handling or interior quality, because the kids are just gonna trash it, the Ford may be a better choice but the vehicles are in two completely different leagues from my perspective.
A lot of comments about the rough ride. I have yet to experience this myself but again, for those not familiar with Mazda ride and handling I can see how they think it is rough compared to typical vehicles with soft gushy and mushy ride quality.
What we appreciate is that Mazda is offering something for those of us that prefer not to pay BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus or even Infinity pricing and servicing costs but still achieve luxury and performance on a budget.
