I think it's not activated from the fob, but from the MyMazda app. The app is free for three years but after that it requires a subscription.
Does CX90 come with the standard remote start from Keyfob? Or will they continue that crap paid service like on cx5 and others
Anyone got confirmation if cx90 has remote start right off the keyfob? Was shocked when buddies had a high trim cx5 from the current and last generation and there was no included remote start and said it was a paid service and was some complicated process with a phone or something like that.

It's free for two years in Canada (not sure about the US). I don't disagree, but it uses cellular towers to communicate with the in car systems. Mazda is definitely passing along any associated cost and we're financing the application development.Is it just me, or paying a recurring fee for this a bit shit.
I'll be purchasing the additional 4 years when I pick my vehicle up, so I'll be good for a total of 6 years.
