This is normal operation.

There is a key to light colors on the charge port lid cover. And more detail in the manual.

 

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I saw the operation key on the lid cover. This is on the charger itself. When plugged into the outlet the power light is red.

 

Yes sir I think that is normal, as my plug is also always red but charges fine.
