Bose vs non Bose

What are power numbers from Bose and non Bose amplifiers?
What are speaker sizes for both , specially A pillar woofer size in sealed enclosures ? Are tweeters the same parts in Bose vs non Bose ?

Don't have the exact figures you're looking for, but have you seen this with relative sizes...

I hope these A pillar sealed woofers are larger in diameter than 4 inches found in Mazda 3 with more than 3liters of cubic space also amplifier has more power than in Mazda 3 ... Main sub should be legit 10inch sub in solid casing not this abs plastic with 5inch woofer
You’ve missed your calling. Please share your knowledge with the designrrs and engineers at Mazda who have no idea what they’re doing.
Laughable and ignorant comment... Mazda build this system with weight savings in mind , proper sub would weight way too much and take some cargo so they use plastic case and tiny low weight woofer... doesn't take audio designer to know it .
If CX90 sound in any way similar to other new gen Mazdas it will lack brightness and snap but will be very easy to listen for longer listening sessions and clean inoffensive character.
Many have hoped they could add some zip to highs , maybe a metal dome tweeters would help and some real bass that can't be done with plastic enclosure and 5 inch sub ....

My point is not that you’re wrong but that you think Mazda doesn’t know exactly what they’re selling. They made their decisions based on weight, packaging and cost. If you don’t like the car, move along.
Mazda does everything their own way and have done for years ... Cudos for A pillar sealed woofers , awesome idea previously found on MB S class... but hope for real non plastic , well dampen enclosure sealed sub with real 10inch driver and powerfull amp for meaty bass Mazda have never seen....along with some more airy and detailed tweeters.
It is not only my opinion but entire audio oriented car crowd have been saying it that Mazdas Bose is concentrating on low distortion, uncolored sound at cost of punch and resolution along with weight savings ...
Forum like this should be read by Mazda folks so when people speak out maybe one day Mazda will listen ....

They know. They chose not to do it your way. Perhaps you should write the CEO instead of this indirect way of trying to improve their product.
You haven’t said a positive word here.
Life is short. Find something that makes you happy.

I did , you may need to read again ...
Venting off for things I would like done better is what these forums should be for not just Mazda butt kissing contests.
Have owned 8 Mazdas in family since 2001... and you?
CX90 is overall a fantastic product , raising the bar yet again ....few easy improvements or tweeks away from greatness what frustrates even more...

The Bose system in the SPP is surprisingly even in frequency response and staging once you remove the Bose spatial junk, place the preference to driver’s position and set to “linear" mode. Imaging is not super tight and they can’t break physics to give super low sub-bass but it’s likely the best Bose system I’ve heard. It easily spanks the MDX Advanced system in sound quality.

Nice to know, how are highs ? It there a spark and enough detail to sound alive or is it typical Bose smooth but lacking detail and spark.
If Mazda could use a real 10" sub in real wooden enclosure and real amp , non of the 1ohm drivers cheating , plastic boxes, tiny 5" woofers with no balls ...
I will give it a listen tomorrow and see for my self ...interesting how base system will sound , it sound really nice on other Mazdas
I have not ran through my gauntlet of test tracks, only noticed what my wife was playing plus I listened to Spanish Harlem performed by Rebecca Pidgeon. Her voice was not boomy like a typical Bose system. I’ll need some time to listen for highs and measure. You know the saying, “No highs, no lows, must be Bose.” That’s not quite true here in my less than reference listening. It’s still not going to sparkle like a Focal or old school metal MB quart tweeter before eq but it’s much better than junk.
I hear ya , audiophile recordings specially played at 24/96 high res will make a huge diff in clarity and detail over mp3 or even worse Satellite Radio trash quality .
I would not Alu tweeter harshness, but even quality soft dome peerless tweeter replacement was a huge upgrade in SQ over Mazda stock tweeter . That Peerless was just 14usd at parts express and it did fit perfectly with some careful mounting not to mention quality poly cap with a 8usd bypass cap 😉
I’ll try to get measurements soon but I went on a quick trip to town and didn’t miss any highs with Boz Scaggs, Amber Rubarth, etc. my ears are 46 years old, though. Lol.
Nice , hey don't worry at 50 i may miss some extension past 12Khz but harmonics will stay with me ... my 2017 CX9 GT Bose did get Dayton AMT tweeters to replace stock Bose and improvement was huge again crossover cap was also replaced ...clarity , tonality, space and depth of detal were huge upgrade ...all for 60usd
Here is a decent review of the Bose system for those who are interested.

Sadly, he did his review with the default settings rather than configuring for audiophile settings. He should have turned off the Bose processing and set the listening position to "Driver" for better sound. My own comparison to the MDX in the review that I'm waiting for Mods to approve,

Most of all, one must go up to the $75k Acura Type S to get decent sound. The non-S trim sound is horrific. I couldn’t listen to such bloated junk. Seriously, “she sounds hideous.” Even Mazda’s Bose sounded like even spectral response in comparison. With all the Bose 3D spatial mess turned off the CX-90 is fairly true to name, “linear.” I can live with it for a while." Turn off all the Bose processing and set listening position to the driver in the Mazda. It sounds MUCH better than the lower tier ESL in the MDX.
I test drove the CX90 TurboS in premium trim with Bose .... connected my Android Auto wirelessly and played few Amazon Music HD tracks and this Bose system sounds great out of the box , even without adjustments it sounded better than CX9 or any other Mazda systems .
Still thinking that tweeter replacement or just it's single electrolitic cap stock crossover replacement for quality Polypropylene capacitor with nice film bypass may make a huge difference in terms of detail, clarity, transient response ... and I would definitely do that for some 50usd .
Than I would pull out stock plastic enclosure sub and open it up to stuff it with polyfill to add more taut and remove boom and bloat . I have done it on my CX-9 and difference was really worth it , not only bloat was gone but it seamed like bass went lower with much better body and taut control.
Just a few inexpensive tweeks that can make this system sound even better than it's already very good stock form 👍😉

I’d like to run infinite baffle on that sub replacement. 😁

My wife doesn’t like for me to mess with her system. I might get around to replacing drivers with something I have on the shelf: Focal, Audiofrog, Scans or Dynaudio. We’ll see. My concern is if they have eq’ed the frequency response with the stock Bose drivers then I’ll be into processing and amplification. It’s tougher to maintain marital bliss if I’m tearing into electronics in her daily driver.
Try to upgrade the sub as you said and maybe just tweek the tweeter caps first , it is an easy mod as Mazda uses just single electrolitic cap worth 1usd as a filter cap for it's tweeter ...
Bose tweeter is little better quality than non Bose ... it maybe quite ok with better crossover cap .
It is much easier and lot less evasive than replacing whole Bose system that is very solid in CX90
