I cant believe they got rid of the tan nappa leather option for the premium plus models. Only White and Black now. Bad move imo

I initially found the tan leather somewhat appealing but it didn't grow on me enough in-person and I went with the white interior (though I prefer darker interior). I wonder if Mazda's change was a cost thing or to appeal to the simple light vs dark interior crowds. I agree though and find it odd that they bumped it out within the same CX-90 generation.

Having said that, I was a bit bummed when they didn't offer a black interior on the highest trim; that and a bench seat. Both of which I suppose I got used to on my previous cars and preferred (I'm probably the only person who wants both on my SPP lol). I didn't want to lose all the amazing features of the highest trim though and downgrade.

I didn’t know that. Totally agree with you- the tan leather and suede inserts/dash are sooooo classy and much cooler than leather. Also, easier to keep clean than the almost white leather. This was definitely the best interior. But since only available on the S PP, perhaps they had only intended for that to be a launch interior.

Interesting. We have owned numerous CX-9/CX-90’s for over 14 years. Starting with CX-9 Touring then moving up to the CX-9 Signature because of the tan Nappa leather. When we bought our first CX-90 last year, we bought the 2025 3.3 Turbo S because we only wanted the Tan leather interior as we get so many comments from our friends about the interior.
Not having that as an option will really disappoint us.
